it’s Puppy love:

we made a dating reality show to promote our new treat mascots

When Lauren Diener (Social Media Manager) and Toby Donahue (Associate Producer) told me they wanted to make a Love is Blind/The Bachelor mashup for dogs, I was PUMPED. BARK’s new cereal treats were launching that summer, and we needed a way to introduce our retro cereal mascots.

Each mascot was going to be forever associated with their treat box, so we needed to make a real connection. “Treat Me Right” allowed us to flesh out their personalities, show off their rizz, and get people excited.

MEET THE POTENTIAL SOULMATES

The dates were a great chance to pepper in lots of fun BARK toys as props (and cross-promotion). Plus, the short segments made it easy to create bite-sized social content.

WATCH THE SPARKS FLY

All our dogs fell in love with their treat…even if one only said yes because she’s “f*cking hungry!”
